

Team Wendy® Warranty Information
Warranty return policy applies only to orders placed on shop.teamwendy.com. For items purchased through a dealer, please contact them to coordinate your Team Wendy product warranty claim.
RIFLETECH™ BALLISTIC WARRANTY STATEMENT
Team Wendy will offer a limited warranty on your ballistic helmet(s) against any defect in materials or workmanship, and will repair or replace the product at no charge per the below terms. This excludes normal wear and tear and does not cover any product that has been damaged due to misuse, abuse, improper storage or the user replacing Team Wendy RIFLETECH™ rails to non-Team Wendy accessory rails.
- Ballistic package – up to five (5) years from date of delivery
- Liner, retention, accessory rails and shroud – up to one (1) year from date of delivery
- Exterior coating (paint) – up to one (1) year from date of delivery assuming that the helmet has not been otherwise painted in that timeframe
Team Wendy will determine whether the helmet, to include associated components, is defective and has sole discretion to determine whether to repair or replace the helmet or associated components. Altering the helmet and associated components in any way not previously authorized by Team Wendy will lead to voiding of the warranty.
EPIC™ BALLISTIC RANGE WARRANTY STATEMENT:
Team Wendy will offer a limited warranty on your ballistic helmet(s) against any defect in materials or workmanship and will repair or replace the product at no charge per the below terms. This excludes normal wear and tear and does not cover any product that has been damaged due to misuse, abuse, improper storage, or the user replacing Team Wendy accessories to non-Team Wendy accessory components.
- Ballistic package – up to ten (10) years from date of manufacture
- Liner, retention, accessory rails, and shroud – up to one (1) year from date of manufacture
- Exterior coating (paint) – up to one (1) year from date of manufacture if the helmet has not been otherwise painted in that timeframe
Team Wendy will determine whether the helmet, to include associated components, is defective and has sole discretion to determine whether to repair or replace the helmet or associated components. Altering the helmet and associated components in any way not previously authorized by Team Wendy will lead to voiding of the warranty.
To support your warranty claim, please email info@teamwendy.com, using WARRANTY CLAIM as the subject line, with the following information:
- Picture(s) of the damaged EPIC™ helmet
- Description of what occurred to damage the helmet
- Proof of purchase
- EPIC™ ballistic helmet serial number (found on label inside of the helmet)
- Your full name
- Your phone number
- Your shipping address
EXFIL® BALLISTIC / EXFIL® BALLISTIC SL WARRANTY STATEMENT:
Team Wendy will offer a limited warranty on your ballistic helmet(s) against any defect in materials or workmanship, and will repair or replace the product at no charge per the below terms. This excludes normal wear and tear and does not cover any product that has been damaged due to misuse, abuse, improper storage or the user replacing Team Wendy EXFIL® rails to non-Team Wendy accessory rails.

EXFIL® CARBON / EXFIL® LTP WARRANTY STATEMENT:
Team Wendy will offer a limited warranty on your Carbon and LTP helmet(s) for one-year from date of delivery against any defect in materials or workmanship, and will repair or replace the product at no charge during that time. This excludes normal wear and tear and does not cover any product which has been damaged due to misuse, abuse, or improper storage. Team Wendy will determine whether the helmet is defective and has sole discretion to determine whether to repair or replace the helmet. Altering the helmet and associated components in any way not previously authorized by Team Wendy will lead to voiding of the warranty.
SAR BACKCOUNTRY / SAR TACTICAL WARRANTY STATEMENT:
Team Wendy will offer a limited warranty on your SAR helmet for one (1) year from date of delivery against any defect in materials or workmanship, and will repair or replace the product at no charge during that time. This excludes normal wear and tear and does not cover any product which has been damaged due to misuse, abuse, or improper storage. Team Wendy will determine whether the helmet is defective and has sole discretion to determine whether to repair or replace the helmet. Altering the helmet and associated components in any way not previously authorized by Team Wendy will lead to voiding of the warranty.
SAR BACKCOUNTRY / SAR TACTICAL BLUNT IMPACT DAMAGE REPLACEMENT POLICY:
If your SAR helmet has been damaged during a blunt impact event within one (1) year of purchase, you may be eligible for a 20% discount off list pricing on a new Team Wendy® SAR replacement helmet.

- Picture(s) of the damaged Team Wendy® SAR helmet
- Description of what occurred to damage the helmet
- Proof of purchase
- Team Wendy® SAR helmet serial number (found on the inside of the helmet)
- Team Wendy® SAR color and helmet type (Backcountry or Tactical)
- Your full name
- Your phone number
- Your shipping address

M-216™ SKI SAR WARRANTY STATEMENT:
Team Wendy offers a limited warranty to the original purchaser of the M-216™ Ski SAR helmet against any defect in materials or workmanship for two (2) years from the date of original purchase. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the above two-year period. This warranty does not apply to defects or physical damage resulting from abuse, neglect, improper repair, improper fit, alterations, or use unintended by the manufacturer.
Team Wendy will determine whether the helmet is defective and has sole discretion to determine whether to repair or replace the helmet. Altering the helmet and associated components in any way not previously authorized by Team Wendy will lead to voiding of the warranty. This warranty is in lieu of all other agreements and warranties, general or special, express or implied and no representative or person is authorized to assume liability on behalf of Team Wendy in connection with the sale or use of this product.
ALL OTHER TEAM WENDY PRODUCTS:
Products not specifically noted above carry a one (1) year limited warranty against any defect from date of delivery. Team Wendy will repair or replace the product at no charge during that time. This excludes normal wear and tear in materials and workmanship.
TO INITIATE A WARRANTY CLAIM:

- Complete the warranty claim form.
- Email the completed form along with your proof of purchase and any images to info@teamwendy.com, using WARRANTY CLAIM as the subject line.
- Your request will be reviewed internally, and if accepted you will be contacted by our customer service department regarding next steps.
- All warranty claims MUST have an RMA number. DO NOT send back your item until you hear back from Team Wendy.
- Team Wendy is not responsible for ANY items returned without an RMA number and proper documentation.
